Mauro Migliavacca
Professor of Economic Sociology at the University of Genoa (ITALY).
He serves as Coordinator of the BA programs in Media, Communication, and Society.
His research focuses on welfare and social policy, labour market change, social and gender inequalities, work-family relations, and youth conditions. He has developed comparative and international research on employment instability, household formation, care, and the social consequences of economic transformation. His teaching interests are primarily in economic sociology, sociology of work, social inequalities, and the analysis of contemporary social change. He has held visiting scholar positions at New York University, Boston College, and the University of Essex, and has participated in numerous national and international research projects.
